This one is personal.

I feel passionate about sharing this now for so many reasons. So many reasons, but I will leave that for another day and get to the point. We lost our son on July 30th, 2021 to fentanyl poisoning. 175 people a day die due to fentanyl poisoning. Every. Day.

WHO 13 News did a segment last night that we were asked to be a part of. They did an excellent job putting the facts and information together with several different perspectives.

There are other stations that have covered the topic as well, but we all know how to Google, so if you feel driven to explore the topic more, it’s out there.

Nothing will bring our son back, but we will continue working with the schools, city and state leaders, as well. as many other agencies that have reached out to honor him. We strive to increase awareness, get rid of the stigma by correcting our terminology and be a positive force in educating anyone that will listen.
